Surplus proceeds identification and claims
When a property sells at auction for more than the amount owed, the difference is often held by a public office. We identify those balances and trace the party entitled to them.
Claims and asset recovery
RCPS Refunds identifies unclaimed surplus proceeds and overage balances held by government offices, files the claim, and remits the money to the person entitled to it.
What we do
Every file follows the same path: locate the record, confirm the rightful claimant, assemble the documentation, and see the payment through to remittance.
When a property sells at auction for more than the amount owed, the difference is often held by a public office. We identify those balances and trace the party entitled to them.
Overage balances sit with county and state offices under filing rules that differ by jurisdiction. We prepare the claim package to the standard each office requires and track it through review.
Records go stale when people move, marry, or pass on. We work back through the paper trail to connect a held balance with the person or estate that owns it.
Once a claim is approved, we collect the payment and remit it to the client. Each file closes with a clear accounting of what was recovered and what was paid out.
How we work
A claim is only as good as the proof behind it. We confirm identity, chain of title, and entitlement before anything goes to a claims office.
Claim packages are built to the filing requirements of the office receiving them, so files move forward instead of coming back for corrections.
Clients deal with the same person from first call to final remittance. Questions get a direct answer, not a queue.
Clients are told what was recovered, what was deducted, and what is being sent to them, in writing.
Where we work
RCPS Refunds is based in Farmers Branch, Texas, in the north Dallas area.
